The River of Unrest

First published in London in 1912 by Ward, Lock, & Co.

Not published in America

This book is very rare

My copy of the first edition of THE RIVER OF UNREST

The British first edition frontispiece

The British first edition title-page

The other illustrations within the book

Brian Stringer's copy is a Colonial Edition, as per a blind-stamped FOR SALE ABROAD on the rear board

Any such copy is surely more scarce than the regular British first edition

None of my Ward, Lock Mitford publications have FOR SALE ABROAD blind-stamped to their rear boards

Brian Stringer owns an undated paperback copy. It is circa 1920s since TORONTO is missing from the title-page. Ward, Lock closed its Toronto office in 1919.
